The Library for Rajpath Club in Ahmedabad, Gujarat; is a proposal to revamp the existing state of the function. The proposal focuses on the flooring becoming a key feature around which the entire design revolves.The flooring is a collage of colours and materials which aim to define spaces of movement, pause, and rest. The furniture in the general area focuses on flexibility to incorporate different groups of people. While the silent reading area becomes a retreat from the all the hustle bustle, where one can find one’s own corner.
