JV Office

JV Office is a project for a private office of a chartered accountant in Vapi, Gujarat. The project began with the client needing an office which was not just like any other series of workstations. From that note, the office developed into a space with as minimal partitions as possible and the ones that are there, are simply to create quiet zones without reducing the visibility. A very specific table which would be used as a workstation was designed to maintain the fluidity of the huge space by multiplying as well as a typical grid layout, without the monotony. The office has a large terrace, which is developed as an undulating garden with various informal sitting areas for the staff to relax or dine in.Materiality plays an important place in the design. The entire office has only shades of white, grey and brown. The more private the space is, the more white it is, while the more public the space is, the more grey it is. The brown wooden elements run through all the spaces connecting all the parts.
