The Window Factory is a showroom for UPVC and Aluminium Windows on SG Road in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The design aims to create an experience centre for a user who comes to buy these windows. The focus of the design is to make any user understand how the window would look in various conditions of jambs and facades. To achieve this the base of the entire display area is taken as black, such as to only highlight the windows. Also, as there are many different kinds of materials used as facades, a base black metal grid of 9″x9″ is used to transition between them.Along with the windows, there was a requirement to display other aluminium¬†products as well, using which various facades and ceilings of the gallery have been designed.
