Akshatam 6 is a gated row housing project in the newly developing area of Palanpur in the district of Banaskantha, Gujarat.
The site has an IOCL line passing through it, so construction on the entire length of that part of the site is restricted. So the common open space was designed on this restricted zone and all the dwellings were designed in the remaining area.
Mainly 3 BHK compact row houses were planned, where the ground floor had a small verandah, living, dining, kitchen, one bedroom and a toilet and the first floor was designed with 2 bedrooms with attached toilets. The rooms are well ventilated and have a service balcony on the rear side and a covered balcony on the road front. The facades of all row houses are similar but the colours are alternatively different to differentiate two neighbouring units from each other.
The scheme has a central garden as well as a small community building and a temple.
